They
There has been, by looking at the web statistics, quite a large number of people that have clicked on for a look, some have emailed aggreement and TWO has offered to shoulder a sign.
Not much people power as yet.
Could be a that any of the 30,000 caught at Beverly Hills living in the St George area don't read the leader, or is it a case of "they", meaning someone else, will do it?
Unless there are significant numbers, any protest will be pointless and drivers will continue to be shafted, and not only at Beverly Hills.

This was in the paper Sept 27/07

Last paragraph says
"the plan for unseen mobile cameras has been abandoned in favour of "high visibility" fixed speed cameras.
Because one of the biggest selling thing at the moment is in-car GPS sat /nav units that also warn of fixed speed cameras, drivers can slow down momentarily at the right spot and then speed up again.
I guarantee as fixed speed camera revenue goes down because of these gadgets, the "abandoned plan" for "unseen mobile speed cameras" will be changed in the "interest of road safety".
In England they have private firms contracted to operate vans with speed cameras that openly boast that they, "catch dads going to work in the morning and mums picking up the kids in the afternoon."
Speed cameras have their place but use them to bludgeon average drivers as at Beverly Hills is not the way to go
There needs to be more Highway patrol police in unmarked cars to catch the REAL criminals not more cameras.
There are lots of websites about speed cameras, here's a comprehensive one:

Real police can detect a range of offences, all speed cameras do is enable a fine to be sent to the owner of a "speeding" number plate demanding money.
